Produced by Allen Salmon, these organic, stripped-down arrangements direct the listener’s attention back to the song and lyrics. “It feels very laid back,” says Salmon. “It’s like having church in a coffee shop.” Salmon used acoustic guitar, dobro and a djembe, among other instruments, to achieve the acoustic and rhythmic sound. “These instruments definitely bring out that simpler, less produced sound, which is great for worshipping with a smaller group of musicians.”

Worship Together: 25 Favorite Worship Songs also features songs that are rising within the church and a modern arrangement of the popular hymn, “How Great Thou Art.” By changing the timing a bit, increasing the tempo and adding a brand new musical bridge, Salmon offers a new take on this celebrated hymn.
